Given the nature of our production processes, which are nearly free of emissions and chemicals, we consider the adoption of environmentally immanent criteria, including an independent environmental management system, as an optional and, ultimately, unfeasible measure.
On the other hand, we expressly guarantee compliance with all environmental laws and regulations, while steadily seeking innovative ways to further protect the environment and the workforce. Last but not least, we explore new approaches to reduce energy consumption and waste.
We strive to acquire local raw materials, production and auxiliary materials, as well as services. All suppliers are fully aware of our high quality standards and declare full compliance with fundamental standards of environmental sustainability.
Relevant requirements for environmental protection have been integrated into our quality policy, also as a way to explicitly document our environmental awareness.
